Hey family!
Well – I was excited to
tell you the news – yes – I will be one of 6 sisters assigned as a sister
trainer/kinda like a zone leader – only for sisters. We have so many new
sisters that they need some sister leaders to care for the needs of sisters.
One of my companions will stay – the other will be transferred. I will be
transferred and get a new companion. We will be assigned an area and will work
the area. We will go to all the zone conferences. Once a month we will split
with other sisters to help them out and care for the needs of the sisters. This
way we can help the elders/Mission President. Really humbled and excited at the same time. I
will be so sad to leave Hermana Noj and Hermana Ponce. They will be my friends
forever. I will really miss them. It will be difficult to leave them. Just know
they will be ok.
It was so much fun
talking with you guys yesterday. Thank you for the emails! So glad we got to
chat for a little bit. Happy to know that you guys are still the same and that
nothing has changed.
So...how are you all
doing since yesterday? Dad, my comps were totally crying all yesterday after
they talked with you. What did you do? No just kidding. They just said that
they could feel your love for them and the love of our family through Skype. I
am just so grateful for you guys as my family. They said we are a typical
gringo Mormon family. Ha-ha. Awesome! They seriously love you guys so much.
They told me today how grateful they are that my family taught me love and
caring to show them. They said that they prayed and prayed to have a trainer
who is patient and compassionate. Well...can't say I have accomplished either
of those but Heavenly Father knows what He's doing and who we need to be with.
I had so much fun talking with you guys and laughing. The kiddos are so
stinking cute! Love them so much! Can’t believe Livy’s hair is long enough to
put in a ponytail. Crazy! What happened to these kids growing up? Almost broke
down when Kennedy and Livy said....love you Aunt Jen and miss you Aunt Jen. Holy
cow. Tear jerker. Ha-ha. Loved it.
Thank you for saying all the things that you
guys said. I am so grateful for the support that I have from you. Thank you for
saying that you can see changes in me. I feel so different. It's hard to
explain. I still feel me...crazy, goofy, obnoxious, off the wall, sassy, spunky
Jen but more spiritually, emotionally, mentally. I feel more confident and
closer to Heavenly Father. I never want to take off my nametag. I always want
to be seen as a representative of Christ. Well....I better head out. But just
know that I love you. I am working hard and smart. I am trying to be obedient.
I am having fun on my mission and loving it! I miss you guys though each day
and love you! xoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxxoxooxoxoxoxoxox
Oh - the equivalent of Mother's Day in Costa Rica is celebrated in August. I will celebrate you twice!!! HaHa. Love, Hermana Jones
Us at church!!!
